Glamour, Facebook Team Up on Election Initiative Aimed at Women Under 45
Glamour teamed up with Facebook on an initiative to “showcase the range of voices” of women under 45 leading up to the 2016 presidential election.
The women’s media brand and the social network joined forces to host a series of events in the eight months leading up to Election Day, featuring Glamour editors and leaders of Facebook’s government and politics team and starting with a launch party Thursday night in Washington, D.C.
Events will be held in locations including New York, California, Florida and Ohio, as well as at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia and the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, and the initiative will wrap up with a Women’s Media Town Hall event in the fall, to be broadcast on Facebook Live.
Facebook vice president and chief privacy officer, policy Erin Egan said in a release announcing the partnership:
This partnership will help encourage women of all ages and political persuasions to use their voice to help define the debate and make an impact in the 2016 election.
Glamour editor-in-chief Cindi Leive added:
In an increasingly contentious presidential election, women will play a crucial role—51 million of them under the age of 45 will be eligible to vote in November. Glamour is committed to elevating their issues and concerns through our 51Million initiative, launched last fall. Now, by partnering with Facebook, the world’s most powerful social media network, we can reach this audience where they live. There is simply no better way to have a political conversation today.

The Kardashians Make Rob's Birthday Celebration A Family Affair
The Kardashians don't let their family members miss out on birthday celebrations, even if there's drama reported between them.
Over the weekend, the krew reunited to celebrate their brother Rob's 29th birthday with a St. Patrick's-themed get together. The whole gang -- including Kourtney's ex Scott Disick -- was there, except for Khloe, who tweeted she was sick early Sunday morning.
As they do with almost every aspect of their very public lives, the fam captured the festivities on camera and shared a couple photos on Instagram and Snapchat.
There was even a Rob Kardashian cake:
Rob's family also shared some birthday wishes for him on Instagram last week. Kendall posted a cute throwback photo while Kourtney shared an old image of the two of them at a restaurant with the caption, "My brother Bob! Happy birthday to the funniest guy I know with the sweetest heart. Let's get married."

Rob didn't post anything about the family dinner on social media, but he has been sharing pics of him and his current girlfriend, Blac Chyna. According to Gossip Cop, the sock designer celebrated his actual birthday (March 17) alone with his lady love.
