Simone Biles Fangirls Over 'Pretty Little Liars' The Way We Fangirl Over Her

Is Simone Biles headed to Rosewood after Rio?

The 19-year-old gymnast won the women's all-around final on Thursday, earning herself a gold medal and the praise of the entire nation, with everyone from Hillary Clinton to Kim Kardashian tweeting their congratulatory messages.

In the celebratory aftermath of her win, Biles didn't possibly have time to thank all of her supporters personally, so instead she chose to send out a tweet acknowledging all of the well wishes. However, there was one message Biles couldn't wait to answer: a personal invitation to visit the set of her favorite show, “Pretty Little Liars,” from showrunner I. Marlene King.

Biles almost immediately responded to the invite, tweeting, “YES X2723883.”

”PLL” star Shay Mitchell also tweeted a video of herself congratulating Biles and the entire Final Five team, which made the pint-sized gymnast ecstatic.

We would love to see Biles and her teammates guest star on the hit Freeform show. The Liars could even borrow the Final Five nickname, considering they appear to be the only characters on the show who haven't been killed off, despite multiple attempts.

We hope Biles channels her excitement over the weekend as she competes in the individual gymnastic events, that is, if she doesn't take off for Rosewood first ...

Leslie Jones Has Officially Won 2016, And The Year Isn't Even Over Yet

You may have heard of comedian Leslie Jones, who just so happens to also be a woman.

You know, the “Saturday Night Live”-slayer.

And an all-around women empowerment warrior.

She's been in quite a few movies, including Amy Schumer's “Trainwreck.”

But she really broke out this year thanks to her role in the all-female reboot of “Ghostbusters,” in which she plays the hilarious MTA worker Patty, who uses her invaluable knowledge of NYC to help the team.

She quickly became a fan-favorite because of her on- and off-screen friendship with Kate McKinnon.

The two redefined friendship goals.

And are just genuinely hilarious and adorable together.

Jones also managed to use her “Ghostbusters” co-stars to her advantage to avoid getting slimed.

And tried to be the voice of reason for the rambunctious group.

Still, she refused to pick favorites, despite McKinnon's goading.

And she wasn't afraid to say what we were all thinking when the studio refused to publicly acknowledge McKinnon's character's sexuality.

She also redefined the #IWokeUpLikeThis game, after showing us that it's not all that glamorous at 8 a.m., even for movie stars.

But boy, does she clean up nicely.

She handled racist Twitter trolls like a pro, calling them out after they attacked her online and caused her to temporarily leave the social media site.

But Leslie couldn't stay away for long, due to her love of “Game of Thrones.”

She really, really loves “Game of Thrones.”

She used the entire situation as a lesson, for both herself and her fans.

Including the young fan that sent her this adorable letter.

Leslie is also a huge Olympics fan, and began live-tweeting the games in Rio when they began.

And people went absolutely mad for it.

NBC couldn't even deny how much they loved Leslie's tweets, so they invited her to Rio to be a commentator.

She will breathe new life into the Olympics with her contagious smile and incredible passion for the USA.

We can't wait to see where 2016 will take you next, Leslie.

Margot Robbie Reveals Why She Thinks Her Scenes With The Joker Were Cut From 'Suicide Squad'

When fans flocked to see “Suicide Squad,” they were likely expecting strong action sequences, a few jokes and a cast of colorful characters ― including plenty of scenes with Jared Leto's Joker. At least in the eyes of critics, the film failed to deliver on pretty much all of those fronts.

Leto's green-haired iteration of the Joker only showed up onscreen for about 15 minutes in total, which had many moviegoers confused, considering the bad guy was a huge part of the film's marketing campaign. (One angry fan even wants to sue Warner Bros. for “false advertising.”)

The actor has already admitted that a bunch of his scenes were cut from the film. In fact, he said that so much material was cut, “there's probably enough footage in this film for a Joker movie.”

Now, Margot Robbie ― who plays Harley Quinn, the Joker's accomplice and love interest ― has opened up about why she thinks the studio opted to cut all those scenes, many of which she appeared in, too.

In an interview with the YouTube talk show “Tipsy Talk,” the Australian actress explained: “[The studio] probably realized that the emotional through-line of the story had to be the mission that we were on, explaining the Enchantress' position and all that kind of stuff.”

“The [Harley and Joker] backstory stuff, though it's magic and some of the stuff we shot was insane, they are flashbacks … so there's a lot, but it just didn't make sense to confuse the present storyline to incorporate all that.”

But, according to The Hollywood Reporter, there may be a different, and more logical, reason for the cuts.

Throughout filming, director David Ayers reportedly clashed with executives at Warner Bros. One concern on the Warner side was that the final “Suicide Squad” cut didn't live up to the edgy, fun movie teased in its first trailer. THR reports that, while Ayer continued to create the film based on his original dark vision, Warner went about working on a different cut with Trailer Park, the company behind the teaser. According to THR, multiple other editors were also brought in to work on the film.

Prior to the film's release, two versions were tested with audiences in California. The first was Ayer's somber vision, while the second presented the lighter take favored by the studio. After looking through feedback, Ayer reportedly agreed to compromise and blend elements of both versions together, as the studio-favored film came out on top. However, finding that common ground didn't come cheap. According to CinemaBlend, the film's reshoots cost tens of millions of dollars

While negative reviews suggest those reshoots may have been for nothing, the film's impressive $135 million box office debut proves otherwise.

The State of Mobile in the U.S. (Infographic)

As the smartphone market expands, it creates opportunities for other industries, particularly in the e-commerce and application spaces. Indeed, these two sectors have grown with smartphone penetration. An infographic from mobile programmatic display advertising firm Sociomantic Labs provides insight into this growth.

Smartphone penetration in the U.S. has grown from just under 70 percent in 2014 to an estimated almost 80 percent this year. Android still seems to be in the lead when it comes to operating systems, capturing more than one-half of the market, compared with 43 percent for iOS. Mobile devices also now account for more than 54 percent of all web traffic.

Mobile commerce may also be on an even steeper trajectory than smartphone adoption, with an estimated $123 billion in sales this year, more than double the 2014 total. What's more, an estimated 32 percent of all e-commerce retail sales will come from mobile devices in 2016, further cementing the relationship between device and user behavior.

While smartphone shoppers use apps regularly, the uninstall problems persist. 45 percent of consumers have made a purchase through an app, and 43 percent of smartphone shoppers use their apps on a weekly basis. However, 25 percent of apps installed are never used, and another 25 percent are used only once. App stickiness is higher these days, but it's clear that if an app doesn't engage users immediately, it will likely be discarded.

Apps are also a key touchpoint on the path to purchase. 50 percent of users look to apps during their path, with 45 percent of these users searching for product information, and 29 percent of them using apps to make their purchase.

Watching Leslie Jones Watch The Olympics Is Better Than The Actual Olympics

Everyone has that one family member (present!) who's forced to regularly confront his or her personal hell in the form of a two-week-long nonstop sporting event, known by the athletically inclined as the Olympics.

To those out there who only watched the 2012 Summer Games for the Spice Girls reunion, we are happy to inform you that there's another way to make it through this year. Why watch the Olympics when you can watch Leslie Jones watch the Olympics?

After her far-too-long break from social media, the “Ghostbusters” actress has returned in fine form to give the Rio Olympics a little taste of Leslie by fervently tweeting hilarious commentary and sharing videos of herself watching various events. And she's Team USA all the way.

Jones kicked off her Olympics coverage with the 10-meter air rifle event which saw Ginny Thrasher give the United States its first gold medal of the games.

“I wanna give a shout out to Ginny Thrasher for getting us a medal,” Jones, dressed head to toe in flag apparel, says in one of many Instagram videos. “Go USA!”

But she truly began to shine during the men's and women's swimming events, taking a particular liking to Olympian Conor Dwyer during the men's 400m freestyle race.

“C'mon Dwyer,” she yells. “Swim, motherfucker! Swim!,” adding in some patriotic chants for good measure.

Next, she showed up for the women's relay team.

And then switched over to some biking ...

... And finally took in a old-fashioned volleyball game.

NBC, who ya gonna call for Pyeongchang in 2018? Leslie Jones.

MAKE IT HAPPEN.
