In a Foreign Land, Rebuilding What Was Lost at Home

How do you rebuild something that is gone, but not forgotten? With clay, wood and no small amount of ingenuity. With those materials and a strong memory of the past, a group of Syrian refugee artists is creating scale models of historical monuments that were destroyed during the war. Their goal is to preserve their country's rich cultural heritage for the benefit of future generations and the world at large.
