The Facebook page for NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt topped the 2 million-like milestone.
NBC News said in an email to SocialTimes that the page’s like total rose 48 percent in 2015, with video views soaring by 1,251 percent, to 500 million from 37 million in 2014.
The NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt page added some 114,000 likes in December alone, NBC News said, adding that the newscast also saw a 254 percent gain in Instagram followers in 2015, along with a 27.4 percent rise in Twitter followers.
